What if we armed ourselves, our spouse and children with HONESTY, INTEGRITY, and LOVE FOR OUR FELLOW MAN?

 We scream and yell about the guns and the violence and the child abuse and the political abuses and Lies of those we vote into office to represent us. EVERY PROBLEM IN THIS WORLD all lead straight back to the HOME and the Parents. If all of our children were taught by a loving and honest set of parents we would not have most of these current issues. Mental health often can not be controlled however with proper awareness, loving and compassionate intervention can and would prevent many of the atrocities of today. What would happen if our laws were changed to not only punish the perpetrator but the parents of the perpetrator as well? Over time, don't you think parents would begin to think twice about their teachings (or lack of) and the example they set and show their kids? The fault does not lie with the guns or the knives or base ball bats, the fault , most of the time, with the parents!!!! Begin punishing parents as well and watch how fat our society would change. There are no "teeth" involved in how we raise and train our kids. Parents would think twice before divorcing, having affairs, church attendance, foul language in the home, AND ON AND ON AND ON!!!!! Our politicians would think twice before lining their pockets with tax payor dollars or driving our country toward a "One United World Order" and again ON AND ON.

The reality, of course, is that the above would never fly, however those of us who have Honor and Respect and Love for our neighbors and fellow man find ourselves actually living in the beautiful world described above. We live together in healthy neighborhoods where our examples rub off on not only our children but on our neighbors as well. When someone is sick friends come to help. The elderly are often assisted in life's challenges. Have we forgotten that "positive attracts positive"? It's when we star climbing the affluence ladder that we lose sight of the consequences. I can only hope and pray that more parents will think about and realize the need for two parent home life where our children can be taught as well as experience what Honesty and Integrity really looks like.
